Smiltene Municipality identity 

We approached the brand development process in four main stages: first, we analysed and assessed the current situation. Then, we got to work on creating a brand management strategy, focusing on the brand’s vision, promise, and personality. After that,  we designed the municipality’s visual identity, and finally, we developed a marketing strategy.
Throughout the process, we made sure to involve the community. We held creative workshops, conducted interviews with residents, business owners, and visitors, and ran surveys, in-person voting, and public discussions. We took a close look at the municipality’s identity attributes, values, and associations, using these insights to shape the brand management strategy for Smiltene Municipality. This included a fresh positioning for the municipality and the new slogan: “In the Smiltene Municipality, We Succeed/Come Together.”
On top of that, we designed a new logo and graphic identity to reflect the updated brand. As the project wrapped up, we also created detailed brand implementation and monitoring guidelines to ensure everything’s in place for successfully rolling out and managing the new brand.
